According to space smuggler and captain of Naowen Space Registry (N.S.R.) Emerald Claw, there is one rule to surviving in the pirate world: never trust anyone. The year is 2301. The world she lives in is full of political intrigue and maneuvering. There are three controlling factions in the Omega Quadrant. The most powerful and oldest of the three is the Naowen Republic. Headed by its king, Harrison of Chuvall and his younger brother Grand Duke Jeremy of Chuvall, the Naowen Republic is full of young blood. Always the passive and benevolent one, the Calabrini Federation is making its first appearance in the political web of space imperialism. The supreme ruler of the Calabrini Federation, Consulate Narin Cortair, believes that it is time the Calabrini proved themselves major players. Finally we have the youngest of the three. The Firru Alliance, based on the planet of Farruite, is well known for its lack of diplomacy and collective bad temper. Their leader, Jadielyn Ha-Yon, has a famous shoot first and ask questions later policy. A warrior, she is reputed to be the most powerful person in all the Omega Quadrant. Around the same time I update the story, I will update this section on the characters of the story. It will feature background on one of the main characters of the story. Now playing: Ian Devonshire | Full Name: Ian Maxwell Devonshire Age: 36 Rank: Lieutenant Colonel Service: King's Covert Protection Service Parents: Colonel Grant Devonshire (deceased) and Cassandra Devonshire of Kiara Siblings: Michael of Kiara and Sarah of Temprani Ian is the oldest of the three children of a military officer and a relative of the King. Early in his life, Ian denounced his title (Ian of Kiara) to be just Ian Devonshire. This way he would succeed on his own merits. Succeed he has. The youngest member of the elite Protection Service and the most decorated, he chose to become one after his father died mysteriously on the planet of Kesina. Ian is well-known for his sense of humor and lively spirit.
